Thank you for choosing AutoSecure. This Refund & Warranty Policy explains how returns, refunds, replacements, and warranties work for products and services purchased through AutoSecure.ng or directly from AutoSecure.

By using our website, making a purchase, or booking a service, you agree to this policy.

1. General Refund Policy

We accept refunds or exchanges only under the following conditions:

Eligible for Refund or Exchange

  • Product is unused
  • Returned within 48–72 hours of purchase
  • In original packaging with all accessories
  • No customer-caused damage
  • Valid reason for return (defect, wrong item, etc.)

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Installation fees
  • Diagnostics fees
  • Pre-purchase inspection fees
  • Customized orders
  • Customer misuse or damage
  • Third-party tampering
  • Subscription payments

2. Product Returns Process

  1. Contact support at support@autosecure.ng
  2. Provide order number and reason for return
  3. Wait for approval
  4. Return item via office or courier
  5. Refund or replacement processed after inspection

Refund timelines:

  • Bank refund: 3–7 working days
  • Replacement: depends on availability

3. Warranty Policy

A. Tracking Devices

Warranty: 3–12 months depending on product.

Covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Internal component malfunction
  • Firmware/software issues

Does not cover:

  • Water damage
  • Tampering or removal
  • Poor vehicle electrical systems
  • Third-party installation
  • Network outages
  • Theft or loss of vehicle
  • Expired subscriptions

B. Car Accessories

Warranty: 1–6 months depending on product.

Covers manufacturing defects only.

C. Installation Services

Warranty: 30–90 days depending on service.

Covers:

  • Workmanship issues
  • Loose connections
  • Poor installation quality

Does not cover:

  • Customer or third-party tampering
  • External electrical faults
  • Vehicle wiring or CANBUS issues
  • Post-installation modifications

D. Pre-Purchase Vehicle Inspection

This service has no warranty and no refunds. It is a one-time professional assessment and does not guarantee future vehicle performance.

4. Liability for Tracked Vehicles and Fleet

AutoSecure is not liable for:

  • Vehicle theft or loss
  • Failure to recover stolen vehicles
  • Criminal tampering
  • Tracking inaccuracies
  • Business or income loss

Our responsibility is limited to:

  • Providing available tracking data
  • Supporting law enforcement
  • Offering recovery guidance
  • Technical assistance

5. Refund Exceptions

  • Services already rendered
  • Completed installations
  • Activation fees
  • Subscription renewals
  • Software licenses
  • Third-party damage
  • Used products beyond 48–72 hours
  • Issues discovered after inspection
  • Network or environmental disruptions

6. Missing or Wrong Items Delivered

Report wrong, missing, or damaged items within 24 hours of delivery. Approved cases will receive a replacement.

7. How Refunds Are Issued

  • Bank transfer
  • Store credit
  • Replacement product

Refunds are not issued in cash.

8. Warranty Claim Process

Services integrated with Meta, Google, APIs, or telecom providers may experience disruptions outside our control. Refunds are not issued for third-party downtime.
